The house was built in 1695 by the then salt master Andreas Zellinger.
In 1911, the house passed into the ownership of the Rauscher family and was used as a residential and commercial building.
Since 2017, the house has had a new owner who has restored it in an exemplary and loving manner.
In the large shop window on the ground floor, the local history and museum association provides information about the history of the old Danube market.
